You’ll Love the Amador Causeway.

The Amador Causeway is made up of three islands located at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. The causeway connecting the islands is made of the dregs dug from the canal. The causeway offers beautiful views, great restaurants and a great place to take some exercise.

During the day relax at a causeway restaurant and enjoy the view of ships passing on their way to the canal. Admire the boats in the marinas or take a walk along the nicely paved sidewalks. At night visit one of the many nightclubs or bars and party the night away. The Amador Causeway is rapidly becoming a Panama City hotspot once the sun goes down. The best time to visit is during the week, weekends the place is bustling with excitement but traffic coming onto and leaving the island can be a nightmare.

My brother and I visited the causeway the first day I arrived in Panama. After the hustle and bustle of traveling internationally, a visit to the causeway for lunch and a beer was just what the doctor ordered.

The breathtaking views of the Panama City skyline are a must see from the Causeway.
