Dog Island is a small mostly uninhabited island located near the Achutupu Community in the San Blas Archipelago in Panama. It is named after the three dogs that are the only residents on the island. These perros (dogs) offer visitors a tail wagging, warm and excitied welcome to the island that is perfect for sunning, swimming and snorkeling. Usually there is a $1 fee per person to visit the island, collected by a member of the Achutupu Community so come prepared with small bills and coins.
Relaxing on Dog Island is the only thing there is to do. If you plan on spending the day here bring a cooler as there are no food and beverage options.
